Memories of Final Fantasy 7

The first time I played and beat FF7, I was 11-12 years old. I have very happy memories of Cosmo Canyon. Every day after school I would race to my Playstation 1 in my room and play. I was around 10 years old when I first played the game, but I couldn't beat the first boss, which is sad. I went with my father to Walmart when I was around 9 years old, and he asked the worker, what is the best game? He said Final Fantasy 7 was great and it has 40+ hours of play time. The world seemed a lot different back then. So my Dad bought it for me. We later bought Intelligent Qube, and used to compete for the high score, written on the fridge.

But around a year later, I did beat him, and I continued on the most memorable journey of my life.

This dirty old man confused me.

This was amazing! !

I had a crush on Tifa, lol.

I had a very hard time beating Gi Nattak! I used to get home and level up my materia and characters outside of cosmo canyon, it was orgasmic. lol, for reals.

My favourite part of the game was breeding and racing chocobos. I loved the process of getting the gold chocobo using Carob Nuts and feeding it expensive greens from the northern hermit. Teioh was the hardest opponent, but no match for my chocobos :P

I never did beat the Ultimate Weapons.

Final Fantasy XV - Information

Will FFXV suck balls like FFXIII?

I was thoroughly disappointed with Final Fantasy 13 for the PS3! The graphics were AMAZING, but the gameplay was incredibly boring. It was one of those, I hope this gets better, but it never does... experiences...

I was a beta player for the original FF14 many years ago, as well as the Realm Reborn version. The original was a pile of shit, and believe me, I wanted it to not be. When a realm reborn was in beta I played it, and was impressed with the crafting system. I reached level 50 Goldsmith, then crafting became very boring! I recently levelled Miner to 50, which was both entertaining and a boring grind. Here is a link to my FF14 Profile. I didn't get a battle job to level 50, because frankly it was unbearably boring. That said the game was entertaining for a while. They implemented free company housing system, which seems cool, but expensive, in game.

So has Square-Enix learned their lessons? Will FFXV be incredibly linear like FFXIII? I hope not, I hope it kicks ass. (The new Tomb Raider game was excellent released by Square Enix, btw)

Check out FFXV (15) on Wikipedia!

It will be released for PS4 and Xbox One.
Release Date : TBA

Harvest Moon : Story of Seasons Information

I ordered the Japanese video game, Harvest Moon: Connect to a New Land/World (Later renamed to Story of Seasons), earlier this month off Amazon.com for $55. When I was in Japan a few years ago I bought a Japanese 3DS. I picked up Bravely Default before it was released outside of Japan. My 3DS has been collecting dust, but I am super excited to play this new Harvest Moon game! It should arrive in the mail, any day now....

The game was released Feb 27th, 2014 in Japan.
It is region locked to Japanese 3DS.

For a Translated Let's Play by Lin & Ko on Youtube, check out this link... I found the Let's Play interesting, but ultimately annoying because of the narators voices. I could only listen to so much... No offence! The best part of harvest moon is interacting with the game, and not watching someone else play, because it is such a customized experience.

The game is interesting because you can harvest and water crops in a very lazy manner. As well, there are a shit ton of animals.
